A direct hire opportunity is available for an experienced pharmacy leader to serve as Director of Pharmacy at a critical illness recovery hospital dedicated to inpatient post-ICU care. This role offers a $15,000 sign-on bonus and relocation assistance to support your transition.

Location:

  • Tulsa, Oklahoma

Role Overview: This position holds full pharmacy leadership responsibility including clinical, operational, staffing, administrative, and financial management. Reporting directly to the CEO, the Director of Pharmacy works closely with clinical leadership to ensure excellence in pharmaceutical care for chronic and critically ill patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately prepare and dispense medications consistent with all regulatory standards
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with The Joint Commission, CMS, and other governing bodies
  • Manage the Adverse Drug Reaction Program
  • Develop and lead employee training and education initiatives
  • Participate in quality assurance activities related to drug utilization and patient outcomes
  • Monitor patient drug therapy and develop clinical programs such as Pharmacokinetic Dosing or Pain Management annually
  • Foster a culture of continuous quality improvement
  • Provide patient and family counseling on medication therapies

Required Qualifications:

  • Active Oklahoma Pharmacist License in good standing
  • Minimum three years hospital pharmacy experience within the last five years
  • BLS certification as required by state regulations
  • Educational credentials meeting Oklahoma licensure requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PharmD or BS Pharmacy plus advanced degree or hospital residency completion
  • Minimum one year of pharmacy management or leadership experience
  • Board Certification and residency completion preferred
