A full-time Clinical Pharmacist position is available for the evening shift, scheduled from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, located in Sapulpa, OK. This direct hire opportunity allows you to contribute to patient care in a dynamic hospital environment that prioritizes both the well-being of its staff and the quality of healthcare delivery.
The role involves optimizing patient outcomes by providing safe, effective, and cost-conscious pharmaceutical care. Responsibilities include drug dispensing, managing the IV admixture program, offering drug information, and supervising pharmacy technicians, students, and support staff. This position reports to the Director of Pharmacy and/or the Pharmacy Operations Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dispense medications and manage IV admixture preparations
- Provide clinical drug information and support to medical staff
- Oversee pharmacy technicians, students, and support personnel
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize pharmacotherapy
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science (B.S.) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy
- Active Pharmacist license in good standing with the Oklahoma State Board of Pharmacy
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification obtained within 14 days of hire
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (required for Code Blue attendance) Preferred:
- PharmD degree from an ACPE-accredited college of pharmacy
- Minimum of 1 year inpatient hospital pharmacy experience
