Director of Pharmacy in Schenectady, NY

An opportunity is available for an experienced Director of Pharmacy to lead pharmacy operations at a 250-bed community hospital in Upstate New York, approximately an hour from Albany. This role is well-suited for professionals seeking either an interim or permanent leadership position to oversee pharmacy services and ensure high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic leadership and management of pharmacy services within the hospital.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and hospital policies.
• Manage pharmacy budgets, staffing, and resources effectively.
• Collaborate with medical staff and other departments to optimize medication use and safety.
• Implement and monitor pharmacy operational protocols and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Proven experience as a Director of Pharmacy or similar leadership role within a hospital setting.
