Director of Pharmacy | Sitka, Alaska

An opportunity is available for an Interim Director of Pharmacy to provide leadership and management oversight for a 60-bed hospital pharmacy department. This contract position is located in Juneau, AK, with a start date ASAP and a duration of approximately 13 weeks, with potential for extension. Candidates with a desire for a temp-to-hire arrangement are preferred, though experienced travelers who can relocate or work flexibly will also be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage overall pharmacy operations including staff supervision, compliance adherence, budgeting, and purchasing
• Ensure departmental workflows align with regulatory standards and hospital policies
• Lead and support pharmacy personnel to achieve efficient service delivery and patient safety goals
• Oversee inventory management and procurement processes

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current experience as a Hospital Director of Pharmacy strongly preferred
