An opportunity is available for an experienced Pharmacy leader to serve as Director of Pharmacy at a specialized post-ICU recovery hospital dedicated to providing world-class inpatient care for critically ill patients in Warrensville Heights, OH. This full-time direct hire position offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus and the chance to play a pivotal role in a patient-centered organization focused on excellence, innovation, and trust.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead all clinical, operational, administrative, staffing, and financial functions of the hospital pharmacy.
  • Collaborate closely with the CEO and multidisciplinary clinical teams to optimize pharmacy services.
  • Ensure compliance with state licensure and regulatory requirements while maintaining high standards of patient care.
  • Develop and implement pharmacy policies, manage budgets, and oversee inventory control.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the pharmacy department.

Qualifications:

  • Successful completion of all educational requirements mandated for state licensure.
  • Minimum of three years of recent hospital experience within the last five years.
  • Current state pharmacy license and BLS certification if required by the state.
  • Preferred: PharmD or BS Pharmacy with an advanced degree or hospital pharmacy residency completion.
  • At least one year in a pharmacy managerial role is preferred.
  • Board Certification and/or completion of residency program are advantageous.
