Director of Pharmacy | Vaughn, Montana

A leadership opportunity is available for an Interim Director of Pharmacy to oversee pharmacy operations in a hospital setting. The position requires Montana licensure and offers a Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with no weekend or on-call duties. This contract role is expected to last approximately three months or until a permanent candidate is selected.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as Director of Pharmacy, providing management and oversight of pharmacy services
• Lead a small pharmacy team of 2-3 pharmacist FTEs per day
• Provide strong leadership to stabilize and advance pharmacy operations
• Manage ongoing projects including clean room renovation and medi-tech IT initiatives
• Perform financial analysis specifically for the infusion center
• Collaborate with outpatient clinics and surgical hospital departments to optimize pharmacy functions
• Utilize Touchpoint automation system effectively

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current Montana pharmacist license required
• Proven hospital management experience
• Experience working with outpatient clinics and surgical hospitals preferred
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide and motivate a small team
• Professional demeanor and excellent organizational abilities
