This opportunity is for an Interim Director of Pharmacy at a 100-bed community hospital in Northern Virginia, conveniently accessible from the DC metro area. The hospital maintains an average daily census of approximately 20 to 40 patients, providing a rewarding environment for hands-on leadership.

Responsibilities include managing day-to-day pharmacy operations, supervising pharmacy staff, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and actively participating in departmental and organizational meetings. The role operates Monday through Friday during day shifts, offering a consistent and manageable work schedule.

Key qualifications and experience:

• Valid Virginia Pharmacist license
• Approximately 2 years of recent inpatient pharmacy management experience
• Proficiency with Meditech and Omnicell systems
• Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively supervise a clinical team and maintain compliance
