Assistant Home Infusion Director of Pharmacy in Yukon, OK

An established specialty home infusion pharmacy is seeking a full-time Director of Operations to lead and manage pharmacy and operational functions in Oklahoma City, OK. This role demands a strategic leader with strong expertise in specialty pharmacy and home infusion, ready to maintain high standards of pharmacy practice, regulatory compliance, and superior patient care.

Schedule: Monday to Friday (days) with administrative on-call duties

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee overall pharmacy operations ensuring efficient workflow and compliance with USP 797/800 and State Board of Pharmacy regulations
• Manage compounding, dispensing, and clinical monitoring activities to meet physician and patient needs safely and accurately
• Ensure all pharmacy policies align with local, state, and federal licensing standards
• Lead hiring, training, performance management, and development of pharmacy staff including pharmacists, technicians, and interns
• Handle scheduling, payroll approval, conflict resolution, and strategic team planning
• Serve as a resource for drug information and collaborate with physicians, referral sources, and sales teams
• Participate in the on-call schedule for pharmacists and cover shifts as necessary

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) or R.Ph. with relevant clinical experience
• Current and good standing Oklahoma pharmacy license (additional licensure may be required)
• Minimum 3-5 years of pharmacist experience, ideally with direct compounding and specialty/home infusion expertise
• Strong infusion knowledge and ability to train and lead by example
• Excellent communication, leadership, and customer service skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• CPR and Care Tend certification are desirable

This is a direct hire opportunity within a growing pharmacy environment, offering a compensation range of $150,000 - $180,000 DOE with potential eligibility for sign-on or retention bonuses.
