Per Diem Pharmacist in Alabaster, AL

A position is available for a Pharmacist in an independent retail pharmacy setting located in Alabaster, AL. This per diem role offers a consistent schedule working 1 to 2 days per week, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The pharmacy processes an average of 180 to 200 prescriptions daily, utilizing Quick Script for order entry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense prescription medications and provide patient counseling
• Manage daily pharmacy operations alongside pharmacy technicians and cashier
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal pharmacy regulations
• Maintain proper documentation and record keeping
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care

Qualifications:

• Licensed Pharmacist in Alabama
• Retail pharmacy experience required; new graduates are encouraged to apply
• Ability to work independently in a small team environment
• Familiarity with Quick Script order entry system is preferred

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• 1 to 2 days per week, ongoing
