A well-established retail pharmacy is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to oversee operations at their Plattsburgh, NY location. This direct hire opportunity offers a dynamic schedule with variable hours, including evening shifts, typically working 4x10 or 4x12 schedules (e.g., 8 am to 8 pm). The role demands a leader capable of maintaining compliance with federal and state regulations while managing pharmacy operations to meet financial and service goals.

Key Responsibilities: • Register with the state board of pharmacy as a supervising pharmacist or pharmacist in charge. • Ensure pharmacy compliance with all laws, board regulations, and company policies. • Oversee the pharmacy department's financial performance, including budgeting, payroll, third-party administration, scheduling, and inventory. • Lead business development efforts within the store and community. • Manage pharmacy support staff, including performance evaluations and training. • Ensure all pharmacy associates complete required company training. • Deliver patient-centered services such as immunizations, medication therapy management (MTM), and wellness programs. • Provide counseling to patients and medical providers on medication use, dosage, interactions, and side effects. • Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives to promote patient safety. • Maintain a clean and organized pharmacy environment per company and legal standards. • Complete continuing education programs compliant with state requirements. • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications: • Valid New York State Pharmacist License. • Immunization Certification, with confident administration of all vaccines. • Strong leadership and communication skills. • Commitment to regulatory compliance and patient care excellence.
