A Tribal health facility in Aleknagik, AK, is seeking a licensed Pharmacist for a travel assignment of 13+ weeks, with a flexible option for contract-to-hire. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in both inpatient and outpatient settings without requiring an Alaska pharmacist license.

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
  • No weekends or on-call duties

Key Responsibilities:

  • Dispense medications accurately and safely across inpatient and outpatient environments.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Utilize the Cerner IT system to manage prescriptions and patient records efficiently.
  • Provide excellent pharmaceutical care in a Tribal health setting.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Current Pharmacist license (Alaska license not required due to Tribal health facility status).
  • Retail pharmacy experience preferred.
