A Tribal health facility in Aleknagik, AK, is seeking a licensed Pharmacist for a travel assignment of 13+ weeks, with a flexible option for contract-to-hire. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in both inpatient and outpatient settings without requiring an Alaska pharmacist license.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- No weekends or on-call duties
Key Responsibilities:
- Dispense medications accurately and safely across inpatient and outpatient environments.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient care.
- Utilize the Cerner IT system to manage prescriptions and patient records efficiently.
- Provide excellent pharmaceutical care in a Tribal health setting.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current Pharmacist license (Alaska license not required due to Tribal health facility status).
- Retail pharmacy experience preferred.
