Inpatient Pharmacist

We’re seeking an experienced Inpatient Pharmacist to join a 200+ bed community hospital in Alexandria, LA!

Schedule: Day-Shift; 4x10s
Start: ASAP
Systems: EPIC, Pyxis

 Responsibilities

• Verify medication orders for accuracy, appropriateness, and safety

• Supervise and support pharmacy technicians

• Perform pharmacokinetic dosing and monitoring

• Consult with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals

• Review patient profiles and clinical information

• Provide clinical pharmacy services and medication recommendations

• Ensure safe and timely medication distribution

Requirements

• LA Pharmacist License

• Inpatient hospital pharmacist experience
