A specialty pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacist for a contract assignment in Pocahontas, IA. This opportunity involves providing pharmaceutical services within a long-term care setting, ideal for pharmacists with experience in specialized medication management. The contract duration is 13+ weeks, offering a consistent schedule.
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM
- Some weekends as required
Responsibilities:
- Perform long-term care pharmacist duties including medication dispensing and patient counseling
- Ensure accurate and compliant pharmaceutical services within the specialty pharmacy setting
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient care
- Maintain proper documentation and regulatory compliance standards
Qualifications:
- Active Iowa pharmacist license or temporary Iowa license
- Immunization certification is preferred
- CPR certification is a plus
