A specialty pharmacy in Pocahontas, IA is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to join their team for a contract assignment lasting 13+ weeks. This role focuses on long-term care pharmacy duties, providing vital medication management and support to patients in specialized care settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage medication therapy for long-term care patients
• Ensure accuracy and compliance in dispensing medications
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
• Maintain thorough documentation and adhere to regulatory standards
• Participate in patient education and counseling, as needed

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active Iowa Pharmacist License or Iowa Temporary License
• Experience in long-term care pharmacy preferred

Schedule and Location:

• Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM
