Per Diem Pharmacist in Allentown, PA

A pharmacy is seeking a Per Diem Pharmacist to support their team with flexible coverage needs in Allentown, PA. This position offers a great opportunity for both seasoned pharmacists and new graduates, with training provided for those just starting their careers. Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications accurately and efficiently
• Counsel patients on medication use and safety
• Collaborate with pharmacy technicians, ensuring smooth workflow
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy regulations and protocols

Location:

• Allentown, Pennsylvania

Schedule:

• Tuesdays and Thursdays, 1 PM to 8 PM
• Some weekends including Saturdays 8 AM to 4 PM and Sundays 10 AM to 2 PM

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Licensed Pharmacist (new graduates welcome)
• Strong attention to detail and patient care
• Willingness to learn and adapt through provided training
• Ability to work collaboratively with pharmacy technicians

Work Environment:

• Supported by skilled pharmacy technicians (typically two techs during busy hours, one tech during slower shifts)
