A compounding pharmacy specializing in sterile and non-sterile medications is seeking two experienced Pharmacist Team Leads to join their on-site team in Sandy Springs, GA. This direct hire opportunity offers a pivotal leadership role within the pharmacy’s Patient Services Department, supporting high-volume prescription processing and exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of pharmacy technicians focused on data entry, prescription processing, and logistics to ensure seamless operations.
• Perform PV1 (Pharmacist Verification 1) and prescription verifications with accuracy and compliance.
• Serve as an escalation point for complex patient and provider inquiries, maintaining top-tier client service.
• Oversee workflow and facilitate cross-department collaboration between patient services, lab, and shipping teams.
• Drive operational efficiency and maintain stringent accuracy standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited institution.
• Active Georgia Pharmacist License in good standing.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in retail or specialty pharmacy settings.
• Proven skills in high-volume prescription processing and PV1 verification.
• Strong ability to coach, motivate, and hold pharmacy technician teams accountable.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach.
• Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving and time management abilities.
• Availability to work on-site Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM, with flexibility for occasional early meetings.

Location:

• On-site position in Sandy Springs, Georgia.
