Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee order verification ensuring patient safety and accuracy
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to maintain efficient workflow
• Apply pharmacokinetics knowledge to optimize medication dosing
• Collaborate closely with nurses and physicians to provide expert consultation
• Utilize EPIC and Pyxis systems to manage medication dispensing and patient records

Qualifications & Experience:

• Current Georgia Pharmacist license required
• Minimum of 1 year of recent inpatient hospital pharmacy experience
• Strong hospital pharmacy foundation, especially important as this role involves sole pharmacist coverage overnight along with a technician
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic medical record system strongly preferred
