Under the supervision of the Pharmaceutical Services Director, you will manage inpatient pharmacy pharmaceutical services, ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations while supporting patient care through safe medication management.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee procurement, distribution, storage, and administration of medications within the inpatient setting.
- Review and optimize all drug distribution systems for efficiency and compliance.
- Maintain and update the Pharmacy Services Policy and Procedure Manual in line with regulatory changes.
- Provide drug information and guidance to healthcare professionals.
- Manage pharmacy licensure, accountability, and cost-saving initiatives through formulary management.
- Serve as Pharmacist in Charge and participate in quality assurance, controlled substance security, and hazardous waste disposal.
- Review medication orders and verify patient home medications for appropriateness and safety.
- Maintain inventory records, including pharmaceuticals, specialty kits, and critical emergency supplies.
- Ensure timely resolution of drug discrepancies.
- Provide weekend retail pharmacy coverage and after-hours on-call support during assigned shifts.
- Maintain confidentiality and professional standards in all interactions and documentation.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Recent experience (within 3 years) in inpatient hospital pharmacy settings is required.
- Strong organizational, time management, and professional communication skills.
- Knowledgeable in California pharmacy law and hospital pharmacy operations.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
