A permanent Retail Pharmacist position is available at a well-established location in Sterling, IL. This role is ideal for a licensed pharmacist with retail pharmacy experience who values delivering exceptional clinical care and customer service in a pharmacy setting.

Location:

  • Sterling, IL

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, prepare, and dispense medications following professional standards and state and federal legal requirements.
  • Verify prescribed medications ensuring accuracy and patient safety.
  • Perform medication reconciliation to support a seamless continuum of care during patient discharge when applicable.
  • Consult with patients regarding medication usage, dosage, frequency, special instructions, and potential drug interactions.
  • Maintain a strong focus on customer service and clinical excellence.

Qualifications:

  • Active Illinois Pharmacist License required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Pharmacist in a retail setting.
  • Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical laws and ethical standards.
  • Excellent communication and patient counseling skills.
