A healthcare facility located near Downtown Los Angeles is seeking a skilled Oncology Pharmacist to join their outpatient infusion/cancer center. This role is a direct hire opportunity within a ~400-bed hospital setting, providing specialized pharmaceutical care to oncology patients.

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday
  • Day shifts

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify medication orders accurately to ensure patient safety
  • Supervise pharmacy technicians in daily operations
  • Collaborate closely with oncologists, nurses, and physicians to optimize cancer treatment regimens
  • Utilize Allscripts for medication management and documentation

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid California Pharmacist license
  • Completion of PGY2 residency or approximately 3+ years of oncology pharmacy experience in a cancer center
  • Board Certified Oncology Pharmacist (BCOP) certification is preferred
  • Strong clinical knowledge in oncology pharmacotherapy and infusion services
