A healthcare facility in Northern California is seeking a Pharmacy Professional experienced in pharmacological practices to fill an essential role in a 250-bed hospital setting. This contract position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with advanced technology systems including Cerner and Omnicell.

Schedule:

• Four 10-hour shifts per week
• Variable days and afternoon hours

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to maintain efficient operations
• Consult with physicians and nurses to optimize patient care
• Manage pharmacokinetics and medication therapy monitoring

Qualifications:

• Current pharmacist license in California required
• Experience using Cerner and Omnicell IT platforms preferred
• Strong communication skills with a positive, team-oriented attitude
• PGY1 residency is highly desirable
• Willingness to travel and work in Northern California
