Responsibilities include:

  • Verifying medication orders with precision
  • Supervising pharmacy technicians to ensure efficient workflow
  • Consulting with physicians and nursing staff to optimize medication therapy
  • Managing pharmacokinetic dosing and monitoring
  • Supporting various pharmacy operations using Cerner and Omnicell systems

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Active California pharmacist license
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a positive, adaptable attitude
  • Willingness to travel and work in northern California areas
  • Prior experience in hospital pharmacy preferred
  • Completion of PGY1 residency is highly regarded

Schedule and Location:

  • Four 10-hour shifts per week with variable weekday and afternoon hours
  • Position based in Redding, CA, within a 250-bed hospital
