Per Diem Pharmacist - Andover, Kansas

Pharmacists are sought for per diem positions supporting a retail pharmacy team in Andover, KS. This role offers flexible shifts on a semi-regular basis, ideal for professionals seeking additional hours or varied scheduling.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense prescription medications to patients in accordance with legal and regulatory standards.
• Verify prescriptions for accuracy and appropriate dosage.
• Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and healthcare professionals to ensure excellent patient care.
• Provide patient counseling on medication use, side effects, and storage.
• Maintain documentation within the Rx30 software system.

Coverage is currently needed on the following dates and shift times:

• Monday, 7/27 & Tuesday, 7/28
• Wednesday, 8/12 & Thursday, 8/13
• Shifts run from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Pharmacist licensure.
• Experience using Rx30 pharmacy software preferred.
• Ability to manage a daily prescription volume of approximately 100-125.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Previous retail pharmacy experience a plus.
