Per Diem Pharmacist in Andover, KS

An opportunity is available for experienced pharmacists to provide per diem coverage within a community retail pharmacy setting. This role offers flexible scheduling with shifts on a semi-regular basis, ideal for professionals seeking to supplement their work with varied assignments. The position requires travel to Andover, KS, with coverage in the surrounding Wichita area.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense prescription medications and counsel patients on proper use
• Collaborate with pharmacy technicians to ensure efficient workflow and patient safety
• Utilize Rx30 software to manage prescriptions and patient records
• Maintain compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and pharmacy policies
• Provide exemplary customer service and respond to patient inquiries

Schedule:

• Monday 7/27, Tuesday 7/28
• Wednesday 8/12, Thursday 8/13
• Shift hours: 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Desired Experience:

• Licensed pharmacist in good standing
• Prior experience working in retail pharmacy environments
• Familiarity with Rx30 pharmacy software preferred
• Ability to manage moderate prescription volume (100-125 Rx/day) with strong technician support
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
