This opportunity is for a pharmacist to provide critical support in a home infusion setting, working Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM for a two-month contract. Located in Ann Arbor, MI, this role focuses on ensuring the safe preparation and verification of sterile compounds in compliance with stringent USP 797 and 800 standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist pharmacy technicians in the preparation and verification of sterile compounded medications within the clean room environment.
• Conduct clinical consultations with patients to address therapy-related questions and provide medication guidance.
• Maintain adherence to USP 797 and 800 standards to uphold sterile compounding safety and quality.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient care through home infusion therapies.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Michigan pharmacy license.
• Experience in home infusion pharmacy or inpatient hospital pharmacy settings.
• Competence in sterile compounding practices.
• Familiarity with Care Tend pharmacy computer system is an advantage, but not mandatory.
