Pharmacist - Ann Arbor, MI

This opportunity is for a Pharmacist specializing in home infusion care, working Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM for a two-month contract. The role is based in Ann Arbor, MI, and focuses on ensuring the safety and accuracy of sterile compound medications prepared in a clean room environment.

Responsibilities include assisting with the preparation and verification of sterile compounds performed by pharmacy technicians, adhering strictly to USP 797 and 800 standards. The pharmacist will provide clinical consultations to patients, emphasizing education and safe medication administration in the home infusion setting.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Michigan pharmacy license
• Experience in home infusion pharmacy or inpatient hospital pharmacy
• Proficiency in sterile compounding techniques and standards (USP 797 and 800)
• Familiarity with the Care Tend computer system is advantageous but not required
