This role focuses on providing crucial verification functions within a busy mail order and renal specialty pharmacy that processes approximately 1,000 prescriptions daily. The position is contract-based and located in Antioch, TN, offering an immediate start.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform Pharmacist Verification 1 (PV1) and Pharmacist Verification 2 (PV2) functions.
• Conduct final verification processes to ensure accuracy of medication filling.
• Verify correct medication placement in bottles or boxes.
• Confirm prescription information and directions against hard copy orders.
• Collaborate effectively with pharmacy staff to maintain workflow and patient safety.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in a high-volume pharmacy environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
• Positive and professional attitude conducive to a fast-paced workplace.
• Familiarity with pharmacy order entry systems; experience with Wellsky is a plus.
• Comfortable working in a temp-only role; temp-to-hire may be possible but not guaranteed.
