A contract pharmacist opportunity is available in a fast-paced mail order renal specialty pharmacy serving a high volume of approximately 1,000 prescriptions daily. This role is located in Antioch, TN, and offers a dynamic environment where accuracy and attention to detail are paramount.

Responsibilities include performing Pharmacist Verification 1 (PV1) and Pharmacist Verification 2 (PV2) duties, such as finalizing medication verifications, ensuring the correct medication is dispensed, and confirming that directions and prescription information align with hard copy orders. The pharmacy utilizes the Wellsky order entry system without automation, and no on-call responsibilities are required.

Key Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a high-volume pharmacy setting
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication verification
• Positive attitude and adaptability to a temporary role
• Flexibility to start as soon as possible
