Pharmacist | Antioch, Tennessee

A pharmacy professional with solid high-volume experience is sought for a contract role in a renal specialty mail order pharmacy located in Antioch, TN. This position requires a minimum of 2-3 years in similar fast-paced pharmacy settings, with a good attitude and commitment to quality performance. The assignment is contract-only for 13 weeks or more, with no guarantee of conversion to permanent based on business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct Pharmacist Verification 1 (PV1) and Pharmacist Verification 2 (PV2) tasks, including final product verification.
• Ensure accuracy of medication packaging, directions, and prescription details by comparison with hard copy records.
• Maintain precision and compliance with pharmacy protocols within a high-volume environment averaging around 1,000 prescriptions filled daily.
• Utilize the Wellsky pharmacy order entry system; this role does not involve automation technology.
• Support pharmacy operations without the requirement of on-call duties.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• At least 2-3 years of experience in a high-volume pharmacy setting.
• Proficiency with manual verification processes and strong attention to detail.
• Familiarity with Wellsky or similar pharmacy order entry systems preferred.
• Positive, team-oriented attitude and ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced workflow.
• Willingness to engage in a temporary-only role with the possibility—but no guarantee—of permanent placement.
