Per Diem Pharmacist - Apopka, FL

A pharmacy role is available for Per Diem coverage in the Orlando, Florida area, specifically in Apopka, FL. This opportunity is a signed contract assignment running from March 13 and March 16 through March 20. The position primarily supports first-shift hours.

Schedule / Hours:

• Monday to Thursday: 8:30am - 5:30pm
• Friday: 8:30am - 2:30pm

Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications accurately under direct supervision of the pharmacy manager, ensuring safe and efficient delivery.
• Counsel and advise patients on medication usage and regimens to promote optimal health outcomes.
• Address patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints in line with organizational policies.
• Maintain accurate stock and controlled drug records, including inventories.
• Resolve patient issues and clarify insurance and third-party coverage questions.

Required Qualifications:

• Active and clear pharmacist license in the state of Florida
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a retail pharmacy setting
• Experience using Pioneer pharmacy software is preferred
