A rewarding opportunity is available for a dedicated pharmacist to serve a 200-bed community hospital. This night shift position offers a focused work schedule with the potential for a temp-to-hire arrangement, providing a pathway to a permanent role.
Location: Indiana (flexible for candidates willing to travel or relocate)
Shift: Night shift, 7 nights on, 7 nights off (9:00 PM to 7:30 AM)
Assignment Duration: 6 months with ASAP start
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently
- Supervise and support pharmacy technicians in daily operations
- Perform pharmacokinetic monitoring and calculations
- Collaborate closely with physicians and nurses to ensure optimal patient care
- Utilize EPIC electronic health records system for documentation and communication
Qualifications:
- Active pharmacist license in Indiana
- Experience in hospital pharmacy settings preferred
- Willingness and ability to work night shifts
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Familiarity with EPIC or similar hospital IT systems is a plus
