A well-established independent community pharmacy in Asheville, NC is seeking a dedicated Pharmacist to provide reliable coverage on a per diem basis. This opportunity offers a consistent, guaranteed schedule with potential for conversion to a permanent role in the future.

Responsibilities include:

• Accurately dispensing medications and verifying prescriptions
• Providing exceptional patient counseling and medication guidance
• Managing retail pharmacy operations in compliance with state and federal regulations
• Collaborating with healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes
• Maintaining accurate records and performing inventory control

Qualifications:

• Valid North Carolina Pharmacist license is required
• Previous retail pharmacy experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities

Schedule:

• Guaranteed two shifts per week
• Fixed shift every Friday from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM
• One additional weekday shift (Monday through Thursday) mutually agreed upon and consistent
