An opportunity is available for an Outpatient Infusion Pharmacist to support a hospital-based pharmacy setting. This 13-week contract position offers a Monday through Friday schedule, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., providing a consistent daytime workweek ideal for work-life balance. The assignment begins August 31 and is based in Arvada, CO.

This role focuses on outpatient infusion pharmacy services within a hospital inpatient environment. The selected pharmacist will apply their expertise in medication management, infusion protocols, and patient counseling to ensure safe and effective pharmacotherapy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify and dispense medications specific to outpatient infusion therapy
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals on patient treatment plans
  • Monitor patient responses and document clinical outcomes
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory and safety standards
  • Provide patient education regarding infusion therapies and medication management

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Licensed Pharmacist with current credentials to practice in Colorado
  • Experience in hospital inpatient pharmacy settings, especially outpatient infusion
  • Strong knowledge of infusion pharmacotherapy protocols and safety procedures
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills within multidisciplinary teams
  • Ability to manage multiple complex medication regimens accurately
