A travel pharmacist opportunity is available at a 45-bed community hospital with a focus on delivering exceptional pharmaceutical care. This contract role provides a chance to use your expertise in a dynamic healthcare setting supported by Cerner IT systems.

Location:

• Bakersfield, CA area (assignment based in Arvin, CA)
• Flexibility to travel required

Schedule:

• Four 10-hour shifts per week

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense prescription medications and counsel patients
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize pharmaceutical therapy
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards
• Utilize Cerner system for medication management and documentation
• Support inventory control and medication safety processes

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid pharmacist license, eligible to practice in California
• Experience dispensing medications within a hospital or healthcare system
