Pharmacist - Arvin, California

This role offers the opportunity to practice as a pharmacist within a 45-bed community hospital setting, utilizing Cerner IT systems. The position supports inpatient pharmaceutical care, ensuring safe and effective medication use for patients.

Location:

• Arvin, CA (near Bakersfield)

Schedule:

• Four 10-hour shifts per week
• Variable days/afternoons with shifts starting at either 7:30 AM or 1:30 PM

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, dispense, and review medications according to hospital policies
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient pharmaceutical care
• Manage medication records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
• Utilize Cerner IT system for medication order processing and documentation

Qualifications:

• Active California Pharmacist license
• 2-3 years of inpatient pharmacy experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of medication management within a hospital setting
• Ability to work flexible shift times and adapt to variable schedules
