Pharmacist | Arvin, California

A healthcare facility in need of a skilled pharmacist is seeking a licensed professional to support their inpatient pharmacy operations. This role offers an excellent opportunity to apply your expertise in a community hospital setting with a patient-focused environment.

Location:

• Bakersfield, CA (Nearby Arvin, CA)

Responsibilities:

• Manage and dispense medications accurately within a 45-bed community hospital
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective medication use
• Utilize Cerner pharmacy information system for order entry and documentation
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, state regulations, and best pharmacy practices
• Support daily inpatient pharmacy functions, including medication preparation and distribution

Schedule:

• Four 10-hour shifts per week
• Variable days and afternoons, with shifts starting at 7:30 AM or 1:30 PM

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Valid California Pharmacist license
• 2-3 years of inpatient pharmacy experience
• Proficiency with Cerner or similar pharmacy information systems preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt to variable shift schedules and fast-paced environments

Contract Details:

• 13-week assignment
• Immediate start available
