A well-established independent community pharmacy in Asheville, NC is seeking a dedicated Pharmacist to fill a per diem position with consistent shifts and potential for permanent placement. Location:

• Asheville, NC
• Independent Community/Retail Pharmacy

Schedule:

• Guaranteed two shifts per week with the same pharmacist
• Fixed shift: Fridays, 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM
• One additional weekday (Monday to Thursday) determined by mutual agreement and maintained consistently
• Day shifts only

Responsibilities:

• Perform retail pharmacist duties including dispensing prescriptions accurately and efficiently
• Counsel patients on medication usage and potential side effects
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards
• Manage inventory and assist with pharmacy workflow
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and customers to optimize patient outcomes

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Current and active North Carolina Pharmacist license
• Proven retail pharmacy experience preferred
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
