A well-established independent community pharmacy in Asheville, NC is seeking a Pharmacist to provide dedicated support on a per diem basis. This opportunity offers consistent work with a guaranteed schedule and the potential for conversion to a permanent position.
Location: Asheville, NC
Schedule:
- Two shifts per week guaranteed
- Fixed shift every Friday from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM
- One additional weekday shift (Monday-Thursday) agreed upon mutually and kept consistent
Shift: Day
Responsibilities include:
- Dispensing prescriptions accurately and efficiently
- Providing excellent customer service and patient counseling
- Managing inventory and maintaining compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care
Qualifications:
- Valid North Carolina Pharmacist license
- Experience in retail pharmacy settings preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
