Per Diem Pharmacist in Ashland, OH

A Per Diem Pharmacist position is available to provide essential vacation coverage in a busy retail pharmacy setting. This role requires flexibility and dedication to maintain smooth pharmacy operations during scheduled absences.

Location: Ashland, OH

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM
• Pharmacy operates 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM with no lunch closure
• Coverage needed: August 10–14, September 14–18, and November 25

Responsibilities:

• Utilize PioneerRx software for data entry and prescription processing, handling over 200 prescriptions daily
• Verify prescription data and products with high accuracy
• Answer incoming phone calls professionally and efficiently
• Receive and sign for controlled and narcotic drug deliveries
• Collaborate with three full-time pharmacy technicians to maintain workflow
• Perform all pharmacy functions excluding immunizations

Qualifications:

• Active and clear Ohio pharmacist license
• Minimum of 1+ year recent retail pharmacy experience
• Proficiency in prescription data entry and verification
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
