Per Diem Pharmacist in Atlanta, GA

A growing independent compounding pharmacy is seeking a knowledgeable Per Diem Pharmacist to provide vacation coverage at their mail order facility in Chattanooga, TN. This role offers flexibility while playing a vital part in delivering specialized compounded medications to patients.

Work is conducted Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with a one-hour lunch break from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Weekends are off, allowing for work-life balance in this supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise a team of five pharmacy technicians managing data entry, prescription fills, and customer communications
• Oversee the mail order eye drop department, responsible for shipping post-cataract surgery eye drops in three different formulations
• Address and resolve questions or issues related to prescriptions and pharmacy operations
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and quality standards

Qualifications:

• Current Tennessee Pharmacist License in good standing
• One to two years (or more) of pharmacist experience preferred
• Mail order pharmacy experience is a plus but not required
• Ideal candidates include retired or semi-retired pharmacists or reliable recent graduates seeking consistent per diem opportunities
