Per Diem Pharmacist | Atlanta, Georgia

A well-established independent compounding pharmacy is seeking a Per Diem Pharmacist to provide reliable vacation coverage. The pharmacy handles approximately 1,000 compounds daily and requires an experienced professional to oversee operations within a fast-paced mail order environment. This position is based in Chattanooga, TN, with coverage requirements that may extend to Atlanta, GA.

Location: Chattanooga, TN
Job Type: Per Diem
Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• Lunch break from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM
• Closed on weekends

Responsibilities:

• Supervise a team of five pharmacy technicians managing data entry, prescription fills, and customer inquiries
• Oversee the mail order eye drop department, responsible for shipping three formulations of post-cataract surgery eye drops
• Provide expert consultation and answer any pharmacist-related questions that arise during shifts
• Ensure smooth workflow and compliance with pharmacy standards

Qualifications:

• Current and active Tennessee Pharmacist License in good standing
• Minimum of 1-2 years of pharmacist experience
• Mail order pharmacy experience is advantageous but not mandatory
• Ideal candidates include retired or semi-retired pharmacists as well as recent, dependable graduates
