Pharmacist in Atlanta, GA

A full-time pharmacist opportunity is available on a contract basis, located onsite in Lawrenceville, GA. This role focuses on order verification and dispensing to help alleviate a current backlog, providing critical relief support for approximately two months.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify and dispense medication orders accurately and efficiently
• Collaborate with the pharmacy team to manage workload and prioritize tasks
• Complete a training period working alongside current pharmacists (minimum 15 hours)
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy regulations and safety standards

Qualifications:

• Active Georgia pharmacist license (required)
• Maryland pharmacist license (preferred, but not mandatory)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication dispensing
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow professional guidelines
• Flexibility to work various shifts within a 24/7 schedule after training

Schedule Details:

• Initial training requiring approximately 15 hours alongside existing pharmacists, scheduled between 9:30 AM and 6:00 PM, over several half-day shifts
• Following training, a full 40-hour weekly schedule with flexible hours within a 24/7 window
• Opportunity for additional hours beyond 40 per week if desired
