Pharmacist in Atlanta, GA

A leadership role is available for an experienced pharmacist ready to direct and elevate a pharmacy technician team within a dynamic, high-volume pharmacy environment. This position requires a licensed Pharmacist to lead by example while managing prescription verifications and ensuring compliance with stringent safety and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities include coaching and mentoring pharmacy technicians to maintain high team morale and accountability, performing precise PV1 verifications, and overseeing daily workflow and logistics. This role also functions as a critical escalation point for complex patient and prescriber inquiries, ensuring exceptional customer service. Collaboration across departments such as lab and shipping management is essential to maintain smooth operational processes and meet organizational goals.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited institution
• Active Georgia Pharmacist License in good standing (required)
• Proven management or leadership experience in retail or specialty pharmacy settings
• Demonstrated accuracy and efficiency in prescription processing and PV1 verification
• Strong leadership skills with a history of motivating and holding pharmacy technician teams accountable
• Exceptional interpersonal communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence
• Outstanding attention to detail, operational efficiency, problem-solving aptitude, and time management

Schedule and Location:

• Full-time, on-site position in Atlanta, GA
• Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM, with occasional attendance at 8:00 AM monthly meetings
