A well-established, closed-door pharmacy specializing in long-term care (LTC) is seeking two dedicated Staff Pharmacists to join their team. This pharmacy focuses on dispensing medications to nursing homes, handling a daily volume of 800-1000 prescriptions. With a team of over 50 professionals, the environment is collaborative and dynamic, ideal for pharmacists looking to contribute to quality patient care in the LTC sector.
Location: Auburn, KS (worksite in Topeka area)
Schedule:
- Thursdays & Fridays
- 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Job Type: Contract (ongoing assignment)
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure medication accuracy and compliance
- Perform cycle checking to maintain inventory accuracy and medication safety
- Verify prescriptions and prepare them for delivery to nursing home facilities
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active Kansas Pharmacist license with a clear record and no negative history
- Minimum of 1 year of pharmacist experience; LTC experience preferred but recent graduates and those with retail pharmacy backgrounds are encouraged to apply
- Ability to start promptly is essential
