An opportunity is available for a Pharmacist to provide overnight pharmacy services in a hospital setting specializing in pediatric care. The assignment offers a 7-on, 7-off night shift schedule, ideal for professionals seeking work-life balance while engaging in specialized clinical practice.

Location: Aurora, IL (with primary responsibilities in a hospital environment)

Schedule:

• Nights, 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 7 days on, 7 days off rotation

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive pharmaceutical care during night shifts, focusing on pediatric patients in a hospital environment
• Utilize EPIC and Omnicell systems for medication management and order processing
• Accurately dose medications using weight-based pediatric guidelines
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure safe and effective pharmacotherapy
• Manage medication distribution and provide counseling related to pediatric drug regimens

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Valid Illinois Pharmacist license
• Solid hospital pharmacy experience
• Demonstrated experience and comfort with pediatric patients, including weight-based dosing
• Proficiency in EPIC and Omnicell pharmacy automation systems preferred
