A Per Diem Pharmacist position is available to provide specialized pharmacy support with a focus on oncology and specialty medications. The role requires delivering high-quality pharmaceutical care during specific shifts, ensuring safe and effective medication management in a fast-paced environment.

Location:

• Aurora, IL (site located at 8915 W Golf Rd, Niles, IL)

Schedule:

• Per Diem
• Specific dates: February 16 and 17
• Hours: 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Accurately fill and dispense medications, ensuring compliance with regulations and patient safety protocols.
• Utilize Enterprise RX Pharmacy System and Iknowmed EMR to process prescriptions and maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers, pharmacists and support staff to optimize medication therapy.
• Provide counseling to patients regarding their medication regimens, side effects, and proper use.
• Participate in medication reviews and verifications as needed, with particular attention to specialty and oncology medications.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and adhere to all safety and quality standards.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Illinois Pharmacist License, clear and active.
• Experience in specialty or oncology pharmacy highly preferred.
• Proficiency with Enterprise RX Pharmacy System and Iknowmed EMR platforms.
• Solid retail pharmacy experience will also be considered.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient care.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
