A pharmacy opportunity in Nebraska offers a dynamic role for licensed pharmacists seeking flexible second-shift work hours. This contract position primarily covers the 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM shift, with a minimum expectation of 36 hours per week. Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Active Nebraska Pharmacist license, in good standing.
  • Open to newer graduates and candidates with retail pharmacy experience.
  • Willingness to work primarily second shifts (1:00 PM – 9:00 PM).
  • Minimum availability of 36 hours per week.
  • Flexibility in scheduling is highly valued.

Location:

  • Position based approximately 2.5 hours west of Lincoln, Nebraska.
  • Open to both local and traveling pharmacists.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Dispense medications accurately and efficiently.
  • Counsel patients on medication usage, side effects, and storage.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and compliant pharmacy records.
  • Adapt to varying shifts as required, primarily second shift hours.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Mainly 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM second shifts.
  • Flexible scheduling options available, with the possibility of weekend day shifts.
  • Example schedule: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM on weekends and 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM on weekdays.

Additional Details:

  • This is a contract position.
  • Both traveling pharmacists and local candidates will be considered; local candidates may be offered adjusted compensation.
