Pharmacist - Aurora, NE

A rewarding opportunity is available for licensed Pharmacists seeking a role that values both experience and enthusiasm. This contract position in Nebraska welcomes newer graduates, local candidates, and those from retail backgrounds who hold an active Nebraska Pharmacist license.

Location: Approximately 2.5 hours west of Lincoln, Nebraska.

Schedule & Hours:

• Primarily second shift: 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM
• Minimum 36 hours per week with some flexibility
• Sample schedule options include a mix of early morning and second shifts, such as 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM on weekends coupled with 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM on weekdays
• Candidates’ scheduling preferences are encouraged and considered during application review

Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense medications and provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care to patients
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective medication therapy
• Counsel patients on medication regimens, usage, and potential side effects
• Maintain compliance with state pharmacy laws and regulations
• Support inventory management and ensure proper storage of pharmaceutical products

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active Nebraska Pharmacist license is required
• Open to recent graduates, local candidates, and those with retail pharmacy experience
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a healthcare team
• Willingness to work second shifts and fulfill minimum hour requirements
