Pharmacist - Bagley, MN

A hospital is seeking a qualified pharmacist to support medication management and patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment. This contract position offers an excellent opportunity to apply your pharmacy skills in a 200-bed hospital setting.

Location: Bemidji, MN

Schedule:

• 2nd shift: approximately 12:00 PM to 10:30 PM
• 7 days on, 7 days off rotation

Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and oversee their workflow
• Consult with physicians and nursing staff regarding patient medication needs
• Manage pharmacokinetic dosing and adjustments
• Utilize EPIC electronic health records and Pyxis medication dispensing systems

Qualifications:

• Current Minnesota pharmacist license required
• Prior hospital pharmacy experience highly preferred
• Familiarity with EPIC and Pyxis systems is beneficial
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with healthcare teams

This contract assignment begins immediately and will extend for at least 13 weeks, with potential for extension. It is ideal for pharmacists seeking a structured schedule with distinct working and off days, allowing for work-life balance.
