Pharmacist | Bakersfield, California

This position offers an opportunity for a licensed pharmacist to provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care in a 45-bed community hospital located in Bakersfield, CA. The role is contract-based and supports a facility using Cerner as its health IT system.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately prepare and dispense medications based on physician orders.
• Monitor patient medication therapies to ensure efficacy and safety.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulations.
• Utilize Cerner software for medication management and documentation.

Schedule:

• Four 10-hour shifts per week, providing an excellent work-life balance.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current and valid pharmacist license.
