A seasoned Pharmacist opportunity is available in Bakersfield, CA, supporting a 45-bed community hospital. This contract role is ideal for a licensed California Pharmacist with 2-3 years of inpatient experience, ready to contribute to a dynamic healthcare environment using Cerner IT systems.

Location:

• Bakersfield, California

Schedule/Hours:

• Four 10-hour shifts per week
• Variable days and afternoon shifts, starting at either 7:30 AM or 1:30 PM

Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense medications and provide pharmaceutical care to inpatients
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize medication therapies
• Utilize Cerner technology to maintain precise records and medication orders
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety standards

Qualifications:

• Active California Pharmacist license required
• Minimum 2-3 years of inpatient pharmacy experience
• Proficiency with electronic health record systems, preferably Cerner
• Strong communication and clinical skills
