The position is located in Bakersfield, CA, at a 45-bed community hospital utilizing the Cerner IT system. This role offers a contract duration of 13 weeks, starting as soon as possible, with a schedule of four 10-hour shifts per week. Shifts vary between mornings starting at 7:30 AM and afternoons beginning at 1:30 PM.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense medications and ensure proper medication management within the hospital setting.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and medication therapy.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and hospital policies.
• Utilize Cerner software to document and manage pharmaceutical records efficiently.
• Provide pharmaceutical consultations to patients and clinical teams as needed.

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Current California pharmacist license is required.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of inpatient pharmacy experience.
• Proficiency with Cerner IT systems is preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
