Seeking a skilled Pharmacist for a travel assignment at a 45-bed community hospital in Bakersfield, CA. This contract role offers the opportunity to apply your inpatient pharmacy expertise in a supportive environment utilizing Cerner IT systems. The position features a flexible schedule with four 10-hour shifts per week, including variable days and afternoon shifts starting at 7:30 AM or 1:30 PM.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive pharmacy services in an inpatient hospital setting
• Accurately dispense medications following hospital protocols and regulations
• Collaborate closely with healthcare teams to optimize patient medication therapy
• Utilize the Cerner electronic health record system for medication management
• Monitor drug therapies and provide consultation to clinical staff and patients

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active California Pharmacist license required
• Minimum of 2-3 years of inpatient pharmacy experience
• Proficiency in Cerner or similar electronic health record systems preferred
• Strong clinical knowledge and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
