Pharmacist - Compounding

We are seeking a Compounding Pharmacist for a full-time temporary assignment in Central California. This role is an immediate need expected to run through July 2026, with the possibility of transitioning into a permanent position. Retail pharmacists will also be considered and may focus primarily on dispensing functions if compounding experience is limited.

Responsibilities

• Oversee sterile and non-sterile compounding operations
• Perform final verification of prescriptions
• Fill, label, and prepackage medications accurately
• Communicate with providers for prescription orders, clarifications, and refills
• Counsel patients and address medication-related questions
• Ensure compliance with USP 795, USP 797, and USP 800 standards
• Maintain compliance with California Board of Pharmacy regulations

Schedule & Work Hours

• Monday – Friday
• 8:15 AM – 5:15 PM
• Full-time schedule through July 2026

Qualifications

• Active California Pharmacist license
• PharmD or BS in Pharmacy from an accredited program
• Retail pharmacy experience will be considered
• 3–5 years of pharmacy experience preferred
• Compounding experience preferred but not required
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Compensation

Pay Range: $70–$74 per hour
