Pharmacist in Ball, LA

Schedule:

• Four 10-hour shifts per week
• Rotating schedule to accommodate hospital needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders accurately to ensure patient safety
• Supervise and support pharmacy technicians in daily operations
• Collaborate closely with physicians and nurses to provide pharmaceutical guidance
• Apply pharmacokinetics principles in medication management
• Utilize EPIC and Pyxis systems efficiently to maintain smooth workflow

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current licensure as a pharmacist
• Experience working in a hospital pharmacy, preferably within community hospital settings
• Proficient in EPIC and Pyxis healthcare technology platforms
• Strong clinical skills with the ability to consult and communicate effectively among interdisciplinary teams
• Demonstrated leadership in supervising pharmacy staff
